Road to the Oval Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game Road to the Oval (the “Game”) for Android and iOS collects and uses data. The Game is developed and published by Long Life Games LLC, a company registered in Ukraine (“Long Life Games”, “we”, “us”). The Game is currently in development. This policy describes how it will work at launch, and we will update it if anything changes.
1. In short
- The Game is free and supported by ads. It has no in-app purchases.
- You do not need an account. The Game does not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- Ads are shown by Google AdMob. Google Firebase helps us understand how the Game is used and fix crashes.
- We do not sell your personal data.
2. Data the Game collects
- Device and app data: device model, operating system version, language, approximate country or region (based on your IP address), Game version and a random app instance identifier.
- Usage data: when you open the Game, how long you play, which parts of the Game you use, game events and interactions with ads.
- Diagnostic data: crash reports and performance data.
- Advertising identifiers: the Google Advertising ID (Android) or the IDFA (iOS), only where your device settings allow it. On iOS, the IDFA is used only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- Game progress is stored locally on your device.
The Game does not collect your name, contacts, photos, messages or precise location.
3. Third-party services
Google AdMob
AdMob shows ads in the Game. To do this, Google may collect device identifiers, your IP address and information about how you interact with ads. Learn more:
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from apps that use its services
- AdMob ad technology providers
Google Firebase
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to see how players use the Game, and Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports, so we can improve the Game and fix errors. Learn more in Privacy and Security in Firebase.
4. Ads and your choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: when you first open the Game, we ask for your consent through Google’s consent form. You can choose personalised or non-personalised ads and change your choice at any time in the Game’s settings.
- iOS: the Game asks for permission before using the IDFA. If you decline, it is not accessed.
- Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Young players: ads in the Game are set up to be suitable for a general audience. When we know, or the law or app store rules require us to assume, that a player is a child, ad requests are marked accordingly. Those players see only non-personalised ads, and their advertising identifiers are not used for personalisation or tracking.
5. Why we use data
- To run the Game and save your progress.
- To find and fix bugs and crashes and improve the Game — based on our legitimate interest in providing a working Game.
- To show ads that keep the Game free — non-personalised ads are based on our legitimate interest; personalised ads are shown only with your consent where the law requires it.
- To comply with legal obligations.
6. Who we share data with
Data is processed by Google as described above. We may also disclose data to public authorities when required by law, or to a successor if the Game is sold or transferred. We do not sell your personal data.
7. How long data is kept
- Analytics data in Firebase is kept for no more than 14 months.
- Crash reports are kept for about 90 days.
- Data collected by AdMob is kept according to Google’s policies.
- Game progress stays on your device until you delete the Game.
8. Your rights and deleting data
Because the Game has no accounts, the data we receive is linked only to random identifiers, not to your name. You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the Game, and you can reset your advertising ID at any time in your device settings.
You may also ask us to access or delete data related to your device by writing to info@longlifegames.com. We may ask for information that helps us find this data. Depending on where you live, you also have the rights described in our Privacy Policy, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
9. Children
The Game is rated for ages 6 and up and may be played by children. It has no chat, no social features, no accounts and no purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children beyond what is described in this policy, with ads limited as described in section 4. We aim to comply with children’s privacy laws such as COPPA in the United States and the GDPR in the EU.
If you are a parent or guardian and have questions, or want us to delete data related to your child’s device, contact us at info@longlifegames.com.
10. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect data, and our providers transmit data over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Official distribution
The Game is officially distributed only through Google Play and the App Store. This policy does not cover copies obtained from other sources.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when the Game is released or new features are added. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. If we make important changes, we will let you know in the Game or on our website.
13. Language
This policy was written in English. Translations are provided for convenience. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version prevails.
